The Mobile Unit

Computerized Classroom & Workshops "education center on wheels" is a complete self-contained education and training environment. It contains all the hardware, coursework, training, and furnishings needed for study, enrichment and skill development of a wide range of age groups.

The Mobile Computerized Classroom & Workshop provides the right solution for the small, rural and remote community, who wants to get a share in the worlds advanced multimedia technology. The mobile unit bridges the gap between the available resources and top of the range educational technology and instruction.

The mobile unit is a large, room like structure with a functional attractive design. A living compartment for the instructor can also be incorporated into the unit. The mobile unit offers excellent ventilation and lighting. Air conditioning is available when necessary. Superior insulation contributes to the effective climate control.

The unit is water tight, and protected against dust. During Transport All Equipment and furnishing are securely fastened to assure shock absorbency.

Upon arrival at the site. Both sides are deployed making the unit 15ft wide.

Specifications

• Unit is 39.3ft long and 7.9ft wide and is carried to location by a standard lorry

• Unit is divided into areas

  • operational area of 32ft length is expanded upon arrival at location to double the wide 15.8ft, thus creating a space of 157 sq ft, Which is the size of a normal workshop or classroom.

  • The front part of 2m length, which is not expandable, serves as a storage area and/or instructors small room.

• The working area can accommodate up to 40 participants in 20 workstations simultaneously.

• Unit has 2 entrances

• Expanding the unit once in place is a 1 person job

• Unit is built of specially isolated walls and roof as well as equipped with a powerful air unit

• Unit is equipped with it's own generator, making the unit self sufficient. But it can be plugged into external power if this is needed

• All furniture/equipment are specially attached and secured so that they can withstand shock and vibration during transportation.
