Description
The EB-220 is a
single board, comprehensive instructional module designed to teach basic concepts of Logic
Families to technology students.
The module can be operated as a stand-alone unit or integrated to the EB-2000 Computer Managed
Laboratory.
Objectives
-
Build CMOS NAND and NOR inverter gates
-
Check the CMOS family characteristics
-
Learn how a NAND circuit works, and the characteristics of the DTL family
-
Learn how an inverter works, and the characteristics of the TTL family
-
Learn about ECL NOR gates
-
Examine how gates belonging to different families may be combined
-
Troubleshoot the EB-220 Board
-
Combine several circuits except the ECL components, since they use other voltage values
Recommended Experiments
-
