Description

The EB-122 is a single board, comprehensive instructional module designed to teach basic concepts of operational amplifiers to technology students.

The module can be operated as a stand-alone unit or integrated to the EB-2000 Computer Managed Laboratory.

Objectives

  • Calculate the voltage gain of an inverting operational amplifier

  • Measure the voltage gain of an inverting operational amplifier

  • Calculate the AC Voltage gain of an inverting operational amplifier

  • Determine the AC Voltage gain of an inverting operational amplifier from values measured with an oscilloscope

  • Determine the frequency response of an amplifier

  • Test an amplifier for saturation

  • Calculate the bias voltage

  • Measure the bias voltage

  • Calculate the voltage gain

  • Determine the voltage gain from measured values

  • Calculate the voltage gain using component values

  • Determine the voltage gain from measured values

  • Measure the input impedance of the non-inverting operational amplifier

  • Measure the output impedance of the non-inverting operational amplifier

  • Determine the relationship between the input and output of the differential test amplifier

  • Use measurement to determine if the differential test circuit loads the signal voltage source

  • Compare the results of the test circuits

  • Recall the effect of the operational amplifier on the forward drop of a diode

  • Determine the voltages and wave-forms of an operating circuit

  • Test the various stages in a circuit and locate the faulty stage

  • Locate the fault within the stage of a circuit
